Daniel Shaw is Distinguished Professor of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on the development and prevention of early emerging problem behavior with predominantly low-income, ethnically and racially diverse populations. He utilizes the perspectives of developmental psychopathology and prevention science to translate developmentally-based research findings into preventive interventions and their dissemination.
